Client: Director Jakob Korsholm Borum (Super8)
Role: Visual identity, graphic design, and print productionTitle design and poster for the short film ”What Are the Rules of War, Mr. Sheriff?”, directed by Jakob Korsholm Borum (Super8), shot on 16 mm film, and selected for Aarhus Series & Film Festival.
The visual identity interprets classic Western tropes through a modern lens. Drawing inspiration from 19th-century Wanted posters, the layout pairs condensed typography within a rigid grid system. To mirror the raw, tactile grain of celluloid film, the poster was screen-printed 1:1, using the silkscreen process to introduce subtle ink bleeds and rich halftone contrasts.
